cheap 3kw multi fuel stove fuel stoves (https://www.Trottiloc.com/)

Summary: These simple stoves are lightweight and can burn wood, hexamine, white fuel, and gas canisters using a single nozzle. They're popular in colder weather, but they're loud and don't have a simmer limit.

Some multi-fuel stoves are hybrids capable of burning multiple types of liquid fuel. The MSR WhisperLite Universal, for instance, takes both white and isobutane canister fuel.

Optimus Nova

The Optimus Nova is a multi-fuel stove that can be used with various liquid fuels. It has a quick-priming burner as well as an aluminium pump that self-purges and a precise simmer control. Its low center of gravity and wide spread legs make it a sturdy, rock-solid stove. This makes it a perfect stove for group backpacking base camps, kayaking, and camping in the Arctic.

Contrary to many other stoves that use liquid fuel, which suffer from a problem where unburned fuel is left in the fuel line and nozzle of the stove, the Optimus Nova has a shut off mechanism that operates by simply flipping the bottle over. The intake hoses are removed from the fuel, and forces them to take in air, which stifles flames and depressurizes the bottles.

This is a pretty ingenious solution to an old problem, and it works. The Nova can be used with a variety of regular fuel bottles that seal with an o-ring. This includes MSR bottles. It comes with stove bags that include pockets for spares, tools, lubricant, and the fuel pump.

This is an excellent all round backpacking stove for use in the UK especially for trips in which a variety of fuels is necessary. Its price is also very reasonable when compared to canister stoves with similar capabilities. The Optimus Nova is also easy to maintain and a joy to use.

Kovea Hydra

mazona-ripley-4-kw-ecodesign-ready-multi-fuel-wood-burning-stove-313.jpgThe Kovea Hydra multi fuel stove was first marketed in 2010 and has been a favourite choice for backpackers ever since. A few UK backpackers pay it much attention nowadays maybe because they've gotten fallen behind with more popular brands or whatever the most recent lightweight product from China or Korea is, but it doesn't mean the Hydra isn't still a great stove with its merits.

It's a small multi fuel stove and light stove, that can burn all liquid fuels, including white gas and propane butane, using a single nozzle. It's a typical stove design, with an ignition bell that is bolted onto a body that anchors three fold out support legs. The pump is on the top of the fuel hose and the generator loop is positioned around the inlet and the flame spreader is situated above the inlet. The burner itself is a low velocity flame which allows it to be less affected by wind.

It is a nice feature that it can also be used with a container of propane or isobutane, making it a multi-functional small cooker. It is easy to simmer on isobutane or propane and burns all fuel types at a reasonable level, however it is a bit slower than some other stoves that use white gas.

The instructions for the Hydra are written in English, but they were not written by native users of the language. The instructions warn you against using certain types of lighter fluid. If you don't follow the instructions correctly they could result in an accident and put Kovea into legal trouble. Any gas canister that is 7/16ths UNEF-threaded of a reputable brand will be fine.

Primus OmniLite Ti

The Primus Omnilite Ti is a excellent choice for those who are looking for a multifuel stove that is able to cook with a variety of fuels. It can be powered by gas, petrol/gasoline, diesel, kerosene and aviation fuel. It has separate controls for each fuel type, and you can also adjust the flame size. This stove also comes with a fuel line that sits flat on the ground and can be easily connected to the tank.

The Primus Omnilite is an excellent stove, but it needs maintenance to ensure it is operating efficiently. It is a risk because it flares up when you are priming. This issue occurs with all liquid fuel stoves that use a second spindle at the stove's end instead of a coil to vaporize the fuel.

It is also important to know that each fuel type needs the use of a different jet. This means that if cooking on kerosene, the jet hole has to be smaller than when cooking with gas. This is a minor issue however it's important to mention.

MSR Whisper Lite

The MSR Whisper Lite stove is one of the tiniest, lightest and most affordable multi-fuel stoves. It is also easy to repair on the field. It can run on either canister fuel or liquid gas, and comes with attachments for both. The new design is lighter by 10% than its predecessor, and the burner system was redesigned to improve the distribution of heat. It's ideal for novices or backpackers who are budget-conscious.

The whistler Lite takes a little time to prepare to prime and boil water, but it is an efficient stove that will not disappoint you. The flame is powerful and can cook a Liter of water in just two minutes. The only drawback is it's not as efficient for simmering as other stoves.

This is the reason MSR has created the Dragonfly stove, which is a pot that can be used as a simmering stove. It has a similar design like the whistler, but it is smaller and has better performance. However, it's not as cheap as the whistler Lite. The Soto Amicus cookset and stove is an excellent alternative, providing a similar setup for less than half the cost. Whisperlite International and Universal can be used with isobutane. The same design is used in both but the Universal version can be operated with fuel from canisters in addition.

Coleman Sportster II

Like many Coleman stoves, this is a simple model that is rough and ready that will get the job done. It's strong compact and self-contained, with the tank on the bottom and the burner up top. This makes it simple to use and an excellent option for those who are new to backpacking, who are looking to cut down on weight, and for those of us who want to keep an extra or two in the van.

The stove is designed to burn Coleman's exclusive fuel (naptha gas, also referred to as white gas) This stove can be used with non-leaded gasoline, as well. This will save you money as one gallon of gasoline could last as long as the standard Coleman liquid fuel cylinder.

It takes a bit of practice to achieve a perfect blue flame on a stove with liquid fuel. You'll have to pressurize the stove and prime them correctly before you can do this. If you don't do it right your fuel may spill out, splash beyond the burner, or even sputter. Practice outside before taking it on your trip to learn how to do it.

This stove sacrifices some performance or odor reduction when using non-coleman fuels but this is a trade-off in exchange for the extra flexibility it offers. Be sure to buy gas that is not leaded and not that's enhanced with alcohol or methanol. This is because these kinds of fuel can cause the unit to degrade, leak, sputter and even explode!

ATG Jiko

The ATG Jiko multi-fuel stove from South Africa (formerly known as the jiko) is a lightweight multifuel stove designed for harsh conditions such as Africa. It's an efficient and compact all-in-one stove that burns alcohol, solid fuel tabs and also gels through one nozzle. It's an ultralight minimalist design that is priced less than other multifuel stoves. It also comes with low cost of ownership and fuel is less expensive per liter than gas canisters.

Other multifuel stoves feature a separate nozzle for each type of fuel. It isn't easy to switch between fuels during bad weather conditions, or while wearing gloves. This can add weight to the overall load. Multifuel stoves that are of the current model have a single nozzle that can burn multiple fuels, which makes it much easier. These stoves are referred to as hybrids or multifuel compressed fuel stoves. They are also known by other names such as isobutane, white gas, kerosene and unleaded gasoline/car fuel.

A multifuel stove kit can be bought to transform your Trangia burners into multifuel cookers. These are often sold at specialist camping stores and can be purchased internationally. They are ideal for Trangia enthusiasts. They can burn all liquid fuels except diesel and with the appropriate accessories, they can even simmer.
