What is a Pushchair Single?

A pushchair single handle stroller is designed to carry one child (although some are able to be used from birth with a car seat or carrycot). Some are light and can be converted into a double.

Brakes

The left coupling system 171 for the rear leg 57 and the front leg 19 include a rear leg mounting bar 173 to which the rear 57 is fixedly connected and a gear 175 that is mounted on an end surface 163 of the housing 33 that is located within hub 3; spool component 181 and the post 31 of the front leg 19 wrapped around the J-shaped spool component 181 in the slot 179 located at the end of the mounting bar 173 and a coiled cable 183.

Braking system 215 has the first end 227 which is designed to contact the braking cam when the braking cam is in the second position and an additional end 229. The second end of the brake lever 229 is equipped with a number of teeth 231. The teeth are arranged to engage the teeth 232 of the gear 233 driven by a first rear wheel 59 of the stroller 1. When the brake lever is depressed the braking cam stops rotation of the first rear wheel 59 and movement of the stroller 1. The braking system is operated manually.

Seat unit/carrycot

A pushchair single is an infant travel device that is designed for infants older than 6 months who are beginning to sit up. They are often converted into prams. Prams are more modern and are designed for infants to toddlers. They come with extra padding to make your child comfortable.

Some tyres require air to be added frequently, whereas others are made of alternative materials like EVA and PU, which offer a comfortable ride.

Your pushchair will be among the most frequently used baby items you own so it's worth investing in a top-quality model that is easy to clean and maintain. You can get rid of crumbs and spills with a baby-wipe. However, when you want to remove more stubborn marks, use the hot air of hair dryers for about 1-2 minutes.
