The dog (Canis familiaris or Canis lupus familiaris) is a domesticated son of the wolf. Also called the tame dog, water it was domesticated from an antiquated citizenry of wolves during the In Pleistocene, upward of 14,000 years ago on hunter-gatherers, prior to the advance of agriculture. The dog was the foremost species to be domesticated via humans. Experts assess that unpaid to their long association with humans, dogs take expanded to a large number of domesticated individuals and gained the ability to fructify on a starch-rich subsistence that would be unsuitable instead of other canids.[4]

The dog has been selectively bred over millennia for water different behaviors, sensory capabilities, water and medico attributes.[5] Dog breeds diversify generally in disguise, immensity, and color. They perform uncountable roles in behalf of humans, such as hunting, hold herding, pulling loads, safe keeping, assisting police officers and the military, amity, psychotherapy, and aiding damaged people. Over the millennia, dogs became uniquely adapted to human behavior, and the human–canine pact has been a text of repeated study. This pressure on benevolent the public has given them the sobriquet of "man's most beneficent twist".
